Funds from the Ontario Trillium Foundation grant were used to upgrade the Club’s kitchen facilities with the addition of a commercial dishwasher and sink. This is going to make a great difference for any events held at the Club and will also increase energy efficiencies.

The Ontario Curling Tankard Banner was presented that night. This is a Provincial Competition, where men teams play against one another and the winner goes on to represent Ontario in the Tim Horton’s Briar Canadian championship. The Ontario Provincial Men’s Tankard 2015 was won by a team representing the Fenelon Falls Curling Club. This was the first time for this team to be in the Briar and although they did not win they did very well. During the nationwide telecast of the Briar, Fenelon Falls Curling Club’s name was mentioned numerous times, great publicity for our club and our village and the City of Kawarthas. Ontario Curling presents the Banner to the host club every year and this is the year for Fenelon Falls.
