Food Bank Thanks Supporters (Nov. 2017)

Salvation Army program a success

The salvation army food bank is pleased to have received food from the gardens of The Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society and the Langton Public School Green Team. Also a number of Gardeners have blessed us with their excess produce.

Participants of the Food Bank have enjoyed the fresh produce throughout the summer and we appreciate the generosity and hard work put into the gardening and harvesting by many volunteers and home gardeners. Thank you.

This Thanksgiving saw the continued support of Sobey’s and their Customers as their Food Bank Bin had to be emptied a number of times leading up to Thanksgiving.  Sobey’s Food Bank Bin runs year round and this support is greatly helpful to the Fenelon Falls Food Bank.

The Fenelon Falls Red Apple Store ran a food drive this fall and took in $1600 worth of food products. The Red Apple Store in Fenelon Falls placed first in their Food Drive success among their 13 stores in their district which includes places the size if Oshawa. Well done Red Apple Fenelon Falls and to all our generous peoples support for your Food Bank. This drive has become an annual event which the Fenelon Falls Food Bank greatly appreciates.
