Letter from the Editor – Spring has Sprung

Spring has sprung in Fenelon Falls, or at least it is trying its hardest to warm up and get us there.

Also be sure to use common sense and safety first as things warm up and the ice on our lakes continue to melt.

Things to look forward to this spring include the Country Living Show from April 27th-29th, which promises to be the best one yet. We are enjoying longer days, and every once in awhile we are treated to a beautiful Kawartha Lakes sunset, with vibrantly coloured skies and streaks of cloud. There is a list of great events offered by the Horticultural Society this spring, and the Easter Eggstravaganza returns on March 31.

In the meantime, while we wait for Spring to truly heat things up, I’ll just keep planning my dream vegetable garden in my head…
